Woohoo ... Werewolves.
Yup, I bought "Cursed" today, and to me it's the best werewolf movie out there ... if you don't count the first Howling and Van Helsing.
Wes Craven definitely had the same image I see every time I hear "werewolf", which is basically an exceedingly large and horribly vicious version of a normal wolf that can walk upright and maybe speak.
... and definitely not something "Underworld" came up with.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie anyway, but god damn ... the "werewolves" resembled overgrown rats more than wolves. I almost wanted to gouge my eyes out because of the evilness of it all. The only things I found cool, where the werewolves were concerned, were the actual transformations taking place ... and their eyes.
I'm always for the eerie yellow and black eyes, but I won't lie and say "Underworld"'s version didn't kick ass. :]
